After this time, if the dog is not collected by its owner, it becomes the property of Newham Council. When we find a stray dog we will keep it for at least seven days. We also suggest that you call the Battersea Dogs and Cats Home’s Lost Dogs and Cats Line on 020 7627 9245 in case your dog has been found by someone else.

Make sure you tell us your name, address, contact details and full description of your lost dog. If your dog is missing, please call us on 020 8586 9739 or complete our online form. Report it to Battersea Dogs and Cats Home.Check for a microchip and telephone the contact number registered on the appropriate database.Call the contact number on any identification tag.Collect the stray dog and try to trace the owner.If you see a stray dog, you can report it to us.
